Terms of Service

Last updated: April 24, 2026

These Terms govern your use of ForgePoint Signal (the "Service"), operated at forgepointsignal.com. By subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

ForgePoint Signal publishes plain-English summaries and metadata derived from publicly available U.S. Federal Register documents related to estate and gift tax regulation. The Service is an informational tool for professionals.

Not legal, tax, or financial advice

Nothing on the Service is legal, tax, or financial advice, and no attorney-client, accountant-client, or fiduciary relationship is formed by your use of it. Summaries and classifications are machine-generated and may contain errors. Always consult the original Federal Register document and a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

Subscriptions and billing

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — you retain access until that date, and you will not be charged again thereafter. To cancel, email support@forgepointsignal.com or use the Stripe-hosted billing portal link included in your receipt.

Refunds

Because the Service is a recurring subscription you can cancel at any time, we generally do not issue refunds for partial periods or unused time. We will consider refund requests in good faith where required by law or where you were charged in error. Contact support@forgepointsignal.com within 14 days of the charge to request a review.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms without refund.

Intellectual property

Underlying Federal Register content is in the public domain. Summaries, classifications, design, code, and organization of the Service are ForgePoint Signal's work. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read the Service for your internal professional use during an active subscription.

Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that summaries are complete, accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgePoint Signal's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service, under any theory, is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profits damages.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas.
